With a grinding sound in my neck when i turn my head and constant pain in my head for 2 weeks,get an xray?

You need to see your doctor as soon as possible. He may decide that an MRI is in order rather than an x-ray. Constant headaches for 2 weeks is abnormal and may or may not originate from your neck.
