Medical Question ? |
Someone got spasm on his face, his eyes close most of the time. it is more like a neurological problem, instead of eye problem for 10 years and can't find the treatment. Anyone knows specialists doctors. Please email me at nguyendien22@yahoo.com, thanks a lot. it is a neurological movement disorder that can affect various muscles in the body, including the neck, legs and even eyelids. It causes muscles to contract, and often forces parts of the body into abnormal and painful postures. craniofacial dystonia -- a type of dystonia that causes abnormal movement in facial muscles. It can restrict the movement of the neck, twist muscles around the mouth, and cause eyes to shut so patients are almost at the point of blindness I have heard of what you are describing but I wouldn't know any specialists that would deal with this except a neurologist. You may want to contact a neurologist and see if they can recommend anyone. Has anyone suggested Torrets Syndrome? Try looking on Discovery Helath Channel's website. Good luck! |
