Anxiety 'pressure in head' or sinus headache?

I have generalized anxiety disorder, and I usually get headaches in my neck and back of head and shoulders and slightly in my temples. It usually doesn't start until later in the day and im fine in the morning. It goes away when I am up and moving or if I'm relaxing etc. So I think it's a tension headache.

But a couple days ago it's been accompanied with a feeling of 'pressure' in my forehead, sort of the top of my head also. I hear that it's a sign of a sinus headache?

But I have no sinus problems.. no fever, no tender sinus's, no running nose, not stuffed up, no congestion, no fever, no mucus, etc.

So is it probably just my anxiety and head pressure and tight band feeling that I hear is common with anxiety and tension headaches?

Could be anxiety.

Could be the beginning of a sinus infection/headache.
If the pressure is between your eyes or above your eyebrows, then it's a sinus headache.

If it's your forehead and the top of your head, it's probably a tension headache. Watch it if it continues. If your face starts feeling sore or you develop a yellowish/greenish nasal discharge, that would be a sinus infection.

Hi
do you have any vision changes or balance problems with this? Any weakness of an arm or leg?
I had those types of headaches although mine were worse in the mornings. Mine were actually debilitating, I was unable to go to work or even get out of bed some days they were so bad. I went to the ER as my right arm was weak and they did a CT scan - found a brain tumor. I had the headaches for years but they had goten worse and then the other symptoms came along enough to scare me into a call to the Dr. Expecially the pressure with the headaches and my right eyeball actually hurt too.
If these headaches have been going on for a while and you cannot find a reason for them I would suggest a CT scan. It is very quick, 3 minutes tops, and will find if there are any serious conditions up there. And if there are not then your Dr will know how to treat these headaches for you!
Best of luck and don't hesitate to get this test done, it could very well save your life!
