Meningitis?????

First of i have Panic disorder which makes me scare myself for no reason. so please keep this in mind when answering this. Well im pretty sure all i had is stiff neck, but someone gave me a scare. Well my neck was in pain about 4 days ago to the point i couldnt move it to the left. but now i can move it again. But my eyes are sensitive to light still....Does this mean i have meningitis???????? how rare is it???

P.S i live in colorado...If that helps the rarity question

First of all, you don't have symptoms of meningitis at all. You're not get fever and your stiff neck not meningitis kind of stiff neck. Something wrong with your neck's muscle, but not symptoms of elevated intracranial pressure.
Light sensitive eye could happen to many disease, even only influenza.
You see, 4 days is very meaningfull for meningitis disease. If you get meningitis for 4 days, at this time you supposed to be in unconsious stage.

Secondly, you have to undergo lab blood and cerebrospinal liquid check to know it for sure.

Here's meningitis symptoms :
Classic symptoms
Headache
Stiff neck (nuchal rigidity)
Fever and chills
Vomiting
Fear of bright lights (photophobia)
Confusion
Seizures (These occur in about a third of those with meningitis.)
Recent upper respiratory infection (for example, cold, sore throat)

Less common symptoms
Localized weakness or loss of strength or sensation, especially in the face
Joint swelling and pain in one or more joints
A new rash that often looks like a bruise

I don't want to aggregate your panic attack, if you think see your physician could calm you down, you better do it so.
