Does anyone have these anxiety symptoms?

I have been diagnosed with panic disorder about two weeks ago before i was diagnosed I had been up under a great deal of stress for about two weeks straight. Then I noticed one day that my muscles were twiching more than usually then that same night my muscles twiched in my chest and scared me. I thought my heart was doing somthing weird so this caused me to have a panic attack. For the rest of the night I felt really weak and had a head ache. Then next day I woke up feeling really weak and tired and I had chest pains. The next day I went to the doctor and told him how i was feeling and what happened and he put me on Effexor. For the past two months I had had tremors mostly in the legs, Chest pain in different parts of the chest, twiching muscles all over the body, Feeling real jittery at times, Feeling dizzy or light-headed from time to time throughtout the day, I have had this pressuer on the leftside of my head for 2 weeks, headaches, neck aches, heart speeds up 57-64bpm to 77-86

well I am not on effexor any more I been off it for over two weeks now I am on the generic brand of zoloft (Serlaline) because My family doctor up my dosage to 150mg form 75mg and I was almost sleep 2 nights after wards and rolled over and felt my heart racing with no symtoms of a panic attack so I went to the ER room and they did an EKG and said to find nothing wrong with my heart at the time but when i first got there my pulse was like 111 then after being there a while the nurse check it and she said that it was down to 81 and she asked me did it still seem to be beating fast and i said yes because usually at rest My puse ranges form 53bpm to 63bpm So I am really scared right now I am a 21 year old male in college was an athelete until all this came about. At times i wonder is there somthing wrong with my nevous system cause by stress. I wish I wouldn't never started taking any kind of Anti-depressants.

yes..all of those are anxiety symptons!! i have been livung with this disorder for about 30 years now..i have been taking meds for it for about.15 yrs..and am now on Effexor 150 a day..it doesn`t seem to be working any better than anything else..sorry to tell u this but nothing seems to work for me..altho we all have different levels of anxiety..meaning we lack seratonin in our brains..and need a supplement

Get to emergency room if you cannot get back to your doc right away. if you have been taking Effexor your syjmptoms should be monitored very closley, it does not sound like yours are.
and if the effexor was going to work it probly would have by now

Yes!!!

Actually, after suffering for years and having a severe muscle twitching episode and leg/weakness, chest tightness, that led me to the nuerologist, and many anti-anxiety/panic and anti-depressant, and ...etc..

I am off of all anti-anxiety medicines, and on a small amount of medicine for entirely different problem...and sleep much better.
I don't know where or how you are getting your symptoms, but
I would like to share this...

After keeping a daily journal, (and still not complete) I have been
able to pinpoint and eliminate some symptoms... and a small amount of medication is being used for other problem.

My anxiety, shaking, heart palpitaitons, muscle weakness, dizzy spells,.... were worse in the AM, and sometimes 2 hours after I ate, or right before bed.

1st. I was having reactions to the foods I ate, sometimes my blood sugar was really low, sometimes it was not but it was going crazy a few hours after I ate... to shorten, I eat small amounts every few hours, and balance the proteins, carbs..... It has definately helped with a lot of episodes...
2nd. I went to a good chiropractor, and my severe am back/leg,
neck.... problems decreaded 90% in intensity and frequency.
3rd. I also, after almost a year, convinced the doctors and found
out I am going through Early menopause, Hormones have a lot
to do with this. The Severe episode I had where my hands, arms and legs were feeling like fish, was classified as a hormonal surge...and possible psych medicine effects.
4th. I suffered from sleep deprivation from having my only "miracle child" at age 40, and she has "sleep disorders" and
I was up every 1/2 hour for almost 3 1/2 years...

5th I have ADD, I have had it all my life, It was managable
until my hormones went crazy and my sleep deprivation.
so the anti-anxiety meds only worked for a short time
and made some other things worse......

So, I could go on... Please, before you start the psych drug
cycle.... please look at your diet, your sleep rountines, and also,
your mental state.,

It has been 5 weeks and not one anxiety attack, a few episodes of tremors and food fixed that
Now, so as not to mislead you, I started on 10mg of Ritalin once
a day, 4 days a week.... It only last a few hours, but it jolted something in my chemicals and along with diet changes, some amazing supplements, My quality of life has improved drastically..

My goal is to research more, fine tune my diet and get off of
all medication.

Because of the effects of the Ritalin, I am to be tested for other
things. it may be masking or helping with definate hormonal imbalances. I am waiting for 2 1/2 months to see an endocrinologist now, to evalute my thyroid also.

Good luck. Be careful with any medicine, I was on the psych
roller coaster ride for years and it never got to the bottom line.

A great website for some disorder test is "http://amenclinics.com/ac/tests/

God bless.
