Headaches....?

I have TMJ, so I know that headaces are common with that disorder. I also get migraines...
But why do i keep getting them only on one side of head/neck(the left side), plus ear aches....its gotten really bad.

I have had a slight head injury when i was 12 (falling off a horse) that triggered the TMJ.

The most common are classic migraine and common migraine.

Classic migraines start with a warning sign, called an aura. The aura often involves changes in the way you see. You may see flashing lights and colors. You may temporarily lose some of your vision, such as your side vision.

You may also feel a strange prickly or burning sensation, or have muscle weakness on one side of your body. You may have trouble communicating. You may also feel depressed, irritable and restless.

The head pain of classic migraines may occur on one side of your head or on both sides.

Common migraines may start more slowly than classic migraines, last longer and interfere more with daily activities. The pain of common migraines may be on only one side of your head.

I have migraines and usually have to have a migraine shot to calm them. Most of the time they are only on one side of my head.

If you have any questions about your medical condition, migraines or earaches you should consult a medical doctor and not rely on what you are told in yahoo answers!

Just a guess but have you had a head injury on this side of your head? I have heard, crazy as it sounds that the right half of your brain controls the left side of your body and vise verse.Look into the past injuries you have had maybe that is a answer.

There are multiple new therapies to have your jaw
realigned. This would cure the TMJ problem, as your
upper & lower jaw don't close properly.
I would consult with a Dentist/Periodontist who
is highly versed in this area.
The same thing happened to me once when I fell,
but it resolved on its own.
