Yaz birth control: Please share your experiences with me.? |
Firstly, before I say anything. I already know I should consult my doctor with my questions and I intend to. I am only asking for you to share your experiences with me. I never took Yaz but I've heard of this before from a friend who took it - she had to go on a higher dose of birth control and is on Ortho Cyclin (monoessa is the generic) and she has been much better. I took it and it gave me mayor migraines. i wanted to cut my head off. so i didn麓t even finish the package. never again. So instead I take Femiane , I take Yaz as well and the only thing I would complain about it, is it's made me gain weight. I'm always wanting to eat which I have to control this. I have heard that Yaz will clear up acne but, I haven't had it do anything to my face- better or worse. I've always heard pretty good things about Yaz. I just finished my second pack of Yaz and I've definitely noticed that my acne has gotten worse. I never had perfectly clear skin, but my breakouts are much more frequent and much more severe and I'm having some problems with cystic acne too. I've also experienced some spotting. I am hoping by riding this out for another month things will start to level out. I just started taking yaz a week ago. It has not broken out my skin at all. I do feel like im on speed though. It's hard for me to sleep at night. During the day I always have to be doing something. I feel like I have lost 5 lbs in a week also. I had a headache for two weeks, was nauseated, and felt like I was ready to jump out of my skin after I'd taken a pill (which I'm assuming is like your strange burst of energy). However, in my second month everything seems to have calmed down. My skin has cleared miraculously on this--it just depends on your hormones. I think the normal advice is to wait 3 months for the hormones to normalize when you start birth control. If symptoms persist, change pills. |
