Natural cure for nearsightedness?

Natural cure for nearsightedness?

Yes, there are natural treatments that greatly alleviate nearsightedness. They mainly involve restoring the biochemical balance of the body, and making dietary and lifestyle changes. Dr.Grossman of Natural Eye Care Clinic (www.naturaleyecare.com) is one of the leading holistic eye doctors and has been in practice for over 27 years, and is the author of a number of books on the subject. Part of his therapy is exercise for the eyes and the body in general. It raises oxygen levels in the cells and increases lymph and blood circulation which revitalizes the organs and glands. He has found acupressure to be very beneficial and a patient can self-administer it. The importance of diet is stressed and avoiding eye harming habits like smoking and straining eyes. Many of the other eye exercise "cures" have been debunked(see Eye-Related Quackery www.quackwatch.org) No type of eye exercise can improve a refractive error or cure any ailment within the eyeball.

Lots of green veggies and yellow ripe fruits.

i don't there is...

Try 100% natural homeopathic eyeglasses or contacts.

the only product I have ever seen that even claims to cure eye problems like this was a product called the "See Clearly Method" that came with a video, special glasses and a book of eye exercises.

I actually tried it myself, but didn't follow through with all of the exercises and didn't wear the glasses as subscribed and I also didn't get any results.

I can't say whether it would work for sure or not since I didn't do it properly, but the person doing it would have to be committed to doing all.

By searching for "See Clearly" in google, I see that several sites seem to have the product.

Although changing your diet probably won't fix your eyesight, it should help to keep your eyes from deterioating further to eat healthily. Lots of multicolored fruits and vegetables.
The vitamins, antioxidants, and other beneficial compounds improve your health and circulation and "feed" your eyes better allowing them to keep from degenerating.

Good Luck! I hope this helped.

Some say that taking bilberry helps your vision since it works on the very small capillaries bringing nourishment to the eye. I've been trying it, but only for a couple of months. I am giving it a six-month trial.

I also heard that taking your glasses off when hiking and during other outdoor activities, in which you don't necessarily need your glasses, will help strengthen your eyes to focus on distances. Don't try this while driving!
