About how much does it cost for Lasek eye surgery cost to fix nearsightedness?

With or without insurance.

one of my friends got laser eye surgery and she said it was the biggest mistake ever. she still has to wear contacts and it messed her eyes up.

insurance will not pay for lasek,in the past was about $3000.00 now maybe little bit cheaper,it does works very well.

I think it's like 3 grand per eye

Nationwide Vision offers Lasik for about 149 an eye.

When I had mine three years ago, they didn't accept any insurance and mine was a total of 3800. Financing is available, I paid 176.93 a month for three years and have it paid off. Lasik eye surgery was the best thing I did. I had astigmatism was near sighted in both eyes. Three years after the surgery, I still have 20/15 in both eyes (which is better than 20/20, just FYI). If I were you, I would look around for docs that have a few years experience with LASIK, good luck:)
