If I start wearing + lenses instead of my - lenses will that cure my nearsightedness? |
If I start wearing + lenses instead of my - lenses will that cure my nearsightedness? Unlikely. Once eyeballs get elongated they tend to stay that way. But, wearing weaker (or none, or plus) glasses for near work may rest your eyes, and there's a slight possibility that they'll prevent you from getting more myopic. If you have been wearing minus lenses and you are young, and if you can read comfortably with plus lenses, then wear them. If your myopia goes away let us know. iiii No, it won't. Additionally you won't be able to see. It's a daft idea. |
