Binocular Lasik Surgery?

I recently had Lasik Surgery performed on my eyes for mild nearsightedness and a mild astigmatism. I had Binocular Lasik performed on my left eye and corrective for nearsightedness on my right. The right eye is great however my left eye is still blurry. The eye doctor says this is normal and will come into it's own later. In about two weeks. Has anyone else experianced this and does it clear up? Should I go back and have the left eye done the same as the right eye or should I just wait it out and see what happens?

You should wait a couple months as it takes time for your eyes to heal. Also, make sure you keep your eyes hydrated with the eye drops that don't have any preservatives. The one thing that my eye doctor didn't tell me or my son about Lasik is that once you've had the surgery, your eyes don't produce enough tears any more. If you wake up with dry eyes, get some hydrating gel and put it in your eyes before you go to bed. Otherwise, when you open your eyes in the morning, you lids can actually pull cells off your cornea and make your eyes very sore.

"binocular lasik"? i have not heard this term. is it some sort of aspheric or multifocal effect? if it is, i personally kind of doubt the distance acuity will be as good out of that eye as it is out of your distance-only eye.

are you sure this isnt monovision?
