-2.25 is the number...?

I have nearsightedness and that's the number that's on my contact prescription. Is this moderate, or bad? I feel as though I can't see a thing without contacts or glasses.

Thanks

It is considered moderate...but it is bad enough in your case that you can't see without them, so you kind of answered your own question....lol

Most people with anything over a -1.50 want to wear them all the time....it's better than bumping into the walls.

It not bad its low myopia (-3.00 and less)

Dont worry about it. I have a -3.25.

and to the guy above.. I can go without my glasses and not bump into walls... in fact I drive without my glasses and I havent gotten into any accidents yet.*

*If you dont wear glasses for a while, your eyes will accomodate and you can see better
