I have seen a woman whose nose became badly rotten. Because of her financial difficulty, she kept delaying seeing a doctor until 1/3 of her nose rotted away. Through my small help she finally consulted and doctor diagnosed as nose cancer. Base on my discription, is she suffering from nose cancer? What is her chances of getting cured? Your question is not clear. There are many types of cancer that can affect the face, nose, head, bone, cartilage . . if her doctor diagnosed her with nose cancer you can ask him for the specific type (they need to examine a tumor cell under a microscope and try to determine what type of cell it was orginally. In general, a type of cancer is determined by what type of cell is identified as the one that turned malignant (nasal cell, cartiliage cell, brain cell, bone cell or if it is a metastatic cell that's traveled from somewhere else).
No one can adequately give any type of prognosis. Much will depend on her age, overall health, and the response she has to treatment. Much will also depend on the stage and grade of the cancer.
