Glands still swollen after doctor visit over month ago.. what could this be? |
I went to the doctors a little over a month ago, and he said the swollen glands was i think a sinus problem and i had post nasal drip...i was on medication and it seemed to get smaller but now their back the same pretty much. And i have this lump on the left side of my neck near my gland that i dont know what it is..its kinda hard and doesnt hurt.. I also have this lump a little under my adams apple which my doctor said is my thyroid.. Go back to your doctor. It could be a thyroid nodule. They're very common and usually are no reason for concern. However, 5% of the time they can be thyroid cancer. The only way to know for sure is to get a biopsy. You may also want to see a specialist, like an endocrinologist or ear, nose and throat specialist. |
