Court order for narcotics anon (na)? |
im 17, and the judge let me leave juvee early, if I am court ordered to attend 9 months of narcotics anonymous meetings for possession of cocaine. I don\\\\\\\'t want to go. Is there a way I can fake it? This is really a pain in the ***. I can quit on my own without that b.s. Can I make up a name of someone in charge there stating that I attended? No, you cannot fake it. They will be checking on you and you have to have a form signed every time you attend. Don't risk getting sent back for even longer. Just suck it up and go. You have to decide if you hate jail or NA meetings more. If you hate the meetings more then screw up and your probation will disappear. But, remember, sleep on your back and don't drop the soap. no you cant fake it and get out of it, you did something wrong obviously but you are not even being punished they are trying to help you, if you dont go and you take drugs again they wont ley you out so easily again but if you go and show that you are trying and you fall back maybe it wont be so bad. just go you dont want a life with drugs its horrible. and its harder than you think to quit. so go and anyway we all have to do things we dont want to in life, so start geting used to that You're 17, you're 18...what's up with that? Anyway, the fact they let you leave 'juvee' early is to attend your nine months of NA...if you would prefer to return to 'juvee', it will happen without much cooperation on your part. You cannot 'fake it', nor can you 'make up a name of someone in charge'. You will be reported and possibly end up in jail indefinitely...does that sound better than nine months of meetings? They do that for a reason...you obviously haven't learned your lesson yet and they know that. You're an abuser, you can't 'quit' on your own. Don't mess with the law or legal system..you'll lose everytime. You did the crime, you pay the time...be it juvee, jail or NA meetings. You've been in Juvee and yet you think going to NA meetings is a pain in the ***? Well, based on that logic, it's not so much that you can/can't drugs on your own...it's that your thinking is so screwed up that I don't think you WILL quit. And you'll end up in jail and then we'll talk about pain in the ***. Literally. you're right I just wanted to thank all of you who took the time to answer his question. I gave you all thumbs up. Sorry, you can't fake it. Just go. Have you been before? You don't have to do anything. You don't have to talk or even listen. They are only an hour each. And, hell you can be high if you want to. All you HAVE to do is be present (for the whole hour), and get your sheet signed. It isn't difficult. How often do you have to go during the nine month period? Really, it might suck, but it is better than jail. |
