If you smoke and you are taking narcotics for an injury? |
Does the nicotine increase the amount of narcotics in your body and it's effects? no... you can't have any more of a narcotic in your body than you take... nicotine is a stimulant, but not a very strong one, it isn't going to greatly effect the metabolizing of the narcotic. Definatly not going to be the deciding factor on whether your narcotic use becomes dangerous or not. Smoking in general is bad for you, and narcotics in general are bad for you, but the two don't have any kind of interaction. What exactly are you on? No, cigarettes should not interact with any medication that one can take. The only thing cigarettes will do is kill you, they don't require any help from another drug. |
