Pharamacist. Narcotics?

is there anykind of privacy laws which would phohibite you from picking up someone else prescription. At my pharamacist they relased my script, which is narcotcs to someone else without my permission. Im very upset is there anyhting I can do about this. Is there any laws that are pretected this??? PLEASE HELP!!!!

Narcotics are classified as Shcedule II drugs. Not sure what the laws are. You may call a different pharmacy and tell them what happened and ask for the laws.

I don't think there is any law. My grandma is on pain medications and she doesn't drive so either my mom or I have to pick it up for her. They always ask to confirm the address though.

It is absolutely against the law .Almost all states require a signature from someone with permission to pick up a prescription.
Federal law also requires it.
I would call an attorney and contact the police, you could be held liable for someone who might sell or or take the drug and end up sick or dead.
