Are there any members of narcotics anonymous here? Anybody in recovery? Psst. Hey psst. It is anonymous dopey. Just kidding, I am in Narconon and it has changed my life beyond all expectations. I have finally gotten my priorities together and the world itself seems so much brighter. The program has a well outlined process for helping new members including a revolutionized detox program that focuses on more of a holistic treatment and thetal removal. Please check out the info and best of luck!!!! i go to NA meetings every once in a while. when i first got clean i was going every day. i wouldn't say i'm in active recovery (by their standards) but i am clean and have been for over 7 months. |

It is always wrong to share a prescribed med with another person. Here is why--you have no way of knowing if that person could be allergic or unable to tolerate that med. Especially with narcotics... If it is the only way to keep the pain under control then yes. Try other things first (duh), but if that won't cut it then there is no choice. There are plenty of people who are on narcotics... Mostly window dressing. They're both based on the same 12 steps with little word changes. AA is more established and dogmatic, with a slightly better success rate: 5%. Yep, 5%. ... |
