I gave one of my class mates something for her pain. I just thought of helping her out with her pain not about us getting in troublel and it was a honest misstake. It was percocet I need to write about why it was wrong What is the side effects? It is always wrong to share a prescribed med with another person.
Here is why--you have no way of knowing if that person could be allergic or unable to tolerate that med. Especially with narcotics--they are prescribed according to an individuals pain not anyones elses.
These meds can make people sleepy, lathargic or even hyper in some cases.
They are highly abused when used for no other reason than to get a "high" and that can lead to addiction.
Taken correctly by the person that the med is given, there are generally no long term effects. |
