Do you think long term narcotics are the answer to pain? If it is the only way to keep the pain under control then yes. Try other things first (duh), but if that won't cut it then there is no choice. No, as addiction is a serious consequence NOPES... I THINK YOU HAVE THAT CONFUSED WITH THE ANSWER TO LONG TERM ADDICTIONS... oh no. long term therapy maybe. No they are not, I have RSD and have constant pain. While I attended Pain Management I was a zombie, Oxycontin, Duragesic patches, morphine, Demerol. I had to be weened off these because like the other people say, I became addicted to them. I couldn't think like a human being. Try a Tens unit or anything else, I even tried bee sting treatment. It hurts, I live. no, I don't even favor smoking.... Sometimes....... If you had no other choice. |
