The cause for narcolepsy?

Hi. Can anyone please explain to me what causes narcolepsy? I have read and found the scientific technical theories of the causes, but I can't comprehend what it really means. Can someone please explain what the causes are to me in easily understood human terms?

Thanks in advance!

I have several experience for narcopsy.

The website http://www.harabiclinic.com/ show the case.

Narcolepsy is one of incurable disease in the light of western medicine.
However, it depends on the body condition in the light of East Asian Medicine.

Following case approves this.

1. Personal Information(#042178)
Park, 0 0, Male Aged 32
Archeture Engineer
Address: Gueodong, Kwangjingu, Seoul

2. Chief Complaints
- Sleeping at any time anywhere even meeting time with senior officers in office.
- Feeling the body heavy and being enforced to lie all day long.

3. Other Symptoms and Signs
- Frequent stomatitis
- Burning pain on stomach
- Bloody stool.
- Sweaty arm pit.
- Oily face
- Pupitation : little strong, littel fast nd big
Tongue : thick white mosses, dark red, tooh prints.
Abdomen : hard just like board and pains over all.

4. Diagnosis
Malfunction of liver
Small heart
Over humid digestional organs.

5. Pathology
From a few cases of narcolepsy I found common signs. Those are liver fever
over humidity and weakness of heart. This means the patients of
narcolepsy have chronical gastritis or inflammations
in digestional organs but they do not notice their disease because the symptoms
are coming very slowly from young age. The heart have to work and work in day
and night to send fresh blood to recover the damaged organs. This makes the
patients fall into sudden sleeping for protection from overheating heart or brain.
If the patient notice the falling sleeping, he(she) will resist against sleeping, which
would bring about serious damage on brain or liver or heart.
In short narcolepsy is one way of protecting body due to accumulative fatigue.
So if we correct the balalnce of Five Organs the solid fatigue will be getting
disapeared. As a result narcolepsy shall be treated. Very simple !
The problem is only the preoccupied concept that narcolepsy is incurable.

5. Prescription
To release the liver Ki(energy)
To remove the humidity
To improve the heart activity by keeping cool
To improve the lung

6. Result
1st prescription
Main herbal is to removing humidity and devastated blood, extra herbal
is to circulating blood.

Patient statement : It is better than before in both of falling sleeping and lethargy.
Big size of stomatitis were disapeared.
No bloody stool
Still buring pain on stomach
Little sweat in arm pit
Pulpitation : better smooth than before
Tongue : no change
Abdomen : pains decreased in region and grade

2nd Prescription
Same as 1st and add improving Ki(energy)

Result
No more sleeping in daytime.
Other signs better nearly normal.

3rd Prescription
For more perfection, he want 3rd Prescription!
He is never afraid of the meetings with senior officers anymore!

It is stiil mysterious what makes the patient - looked still young boy - visited
Harabi Clinic for narcolepsy! What I'm saying is about not my clinic but about Herbal Treatment.

if you what to know how it gets triggered is that when someone with it gets excited or happy will fall asleep. (its hilarious with pets!)

There was a horrible movie a few years ago called "My own private Idaho." The lead in that had nympholepsy and every time he got excited or panicked, he'd pass out. In that movie, he speculated that the cause of it was inbreeding.

it's when a person has a problem with getting enough oxygen while sleeping or restricted breathing. it's a very serious condition and really not funny when they fall asleep involuntarily. it's very dangerous. some people have to sleep with a breathing apparatus at night which is not very comfortable. sometimes it can be corrected if you have a deviated septum but in a lot of cases they just have to live with it. note: a deviated septum is a bone deformity in the nose which in some cases is operable.
