Does My Symptoms Sounds Like Narcolepsy? |
Well, I am scheduled for a sleep study on Friday. I didn't want to do one because I just thought it was going to be a waste but I was finally talked into it. I had the same exact symptoms a few years back and had a night and all day study. Every time they told me to sleep I fell asleep within a minute. They told me I was in the top 5% of the US that can fall asleep in less than a couple mins. I fell asleep at the wheel, at work, you name it. I never got a definitive answer of what caused it, it soon went away. I have a rare genetic disorder and I chalk everything up to it these days...go to the study, it will help, you may find an answer. If this keeps happening a doctor can prescribe you a med that keeps you a wake better during the day time hours. Good luck! |
