Does everyone with a hang nail deserve to be released from work duties?

Have you noticed that every time a new condition or disease comes out 15 million people instantaneously not only have to condition, but need to be dismissed from work(with benefits ofcourse) because of it? I think its interesting that people with these condtions don't look to be relieved from the condition but rather excused from responsibility instead.

<>I'd comment on this, but my carpal-tunnel syndrome is keeping me from typing and, even though my chronic fatigue is making me sleepy, my RLS is making walk to Tallahassee in the middle of the night!

hang nails hurt like heck, btu i never missed work because of one. actually once i think about it, i have scoliosis and i have sever back pain and ild back pain from time to time but i still work. i think its more of the person rather than the disease itself.

yup

If the nail is full of pus and ugly looking yes. Don't want to infect anybody and it's nasty to look at.
