Are rotting nails a symptom of a disease? |
I noticed today that one of my managers had something seriously wrong with his thumb nails. They were gray and looked as if they were rotting away. His other nails didn't look a whole lot better. He is in his mid thirties. I also notice he tends to have a lot of sores on his body. A comment he made once leads me to believe he may be sick with something. I'm concerened for him, his nails really looked awful. They say that one's nails can be a sign of good health or poor health. When I first read the question from the list, I thought of nail fungus. If he has other illnesses or diseases, perhaps it may affect the nail health as well. uck! he may have a fungal infection |
