I bite my skin on my hands and fingers? |
Ok I just posted a question bout this but most people are thinking that Im bitting the skin round my nails..no in fact I dont bite my nails.I bite my skin that is on the inner part of my hand till I bleed. I even take nail clippers and cut all of the skin on the inside of my hand. I do it till I cant use my hands at all to do dishes, clean etc. I have bandaids all over my hands from this. People tell me to stop and I just can't..I do it usually when I'm watching t.v and most of the time I dont realize it till I'm bleeding. Some people told me that I can get flesh eating disease from this and I stopped for awhile but now I have started right up again. I know this is a weird habit and No I do not need any rude remarks please...I get enough of that from everyone I know...If you have a good answer or have the same habit please help...thanks I used to do the same exact thing. Now I bite my lip. And i don't mean just like little bites here and there, I bite my lips until they bleed really badly. Try chewing gum or sucking on lollipops. I know it doesn't sound very convincing, but I've found that if I have something already in my mouth, I'm less inclined to chew on my nails, or bite my lip. umm...u should cover them with like a bag or something so that when u want to bite , u can't and then grow use to it until u can take them off. yo yo dont be doing none a that round me no no you gotta get some chicken thats finger licking good yo thats be done fried chicked that done beed the one to taknen awaay the uurge to eay done be youslef t yo you done know fried chicken be done thaz rigy finger licken that chikin My boyfriend does the same thing. It's so strange. Can't really offer any suggestions, but at least you're not alone! Its normal! i peel the skin around my thumbnails till it bleeds. i cant even play video games sometimes. Why do i do this? why? why? Each time you find yourself doing, to each and every finger, add in say 5pence into a jar. That way you're loosing your money. You can earn a 5pence back when you've not done it for an hour straight. For example: I use to bite the skin around my nails, I know you said you didn't do it there. Anyway... I did one day just out of habit, not because I get nervous. And it was in my Music class at college. I was suppose to go play the piano, when I got finished I had blood all over the piano. I stopped doing that! I put rubbing alcohol on it and I didn't do it anymore because of the taste. You could try this or peroxide or whatever just to keep your mouth away. My mom does the same thing it gets annoying. Try wearing rubber gloves that's what she dose and it helps, you just got to remember to put them on. |
