Painful Hands and Joints - What problem is this? |
Throughout my childhood I had experienced pain in my joints. For example, wrist pain, knee pain, finger pain. Usually, they swell and become extremely painful at night but slowly become less painful in the morning. I never went to the doctor because all they will do is to give me pain killers. I still have it until now, today my hand is painful again. Its turning red and swollen and I cannot sleep. A few days before my thumb was having the symtoms and now its my hand. However, I'm sure it will go away in 2 days. I just want to know if anyone by any chance know what kind of disease is this? Am I going to suffer from it my whole life? It extremely painful right now, :( I feel like my hand is being pin down by a big nail. All the classic symptoms of arthritis. Just go to a doctor and if they prescribe pain killers dont take them... I think you better see a doctor. Sorry to say it is 1 form of Arthritis. I also have it pretty bad. Of course there is no cure for it. It can only be treated. There are several different meds on the market that helps a little very little. I am now trying 3 different kinds. Good Luck!! I really feel for you!! when multiple joints are involved, especially in younger people, it is usually some rheumatological issue (rheumatoid arthritis or one of many other disease processes within the spectrum). in you, it may have be juvenile rheumatoid arthritis if you were symptomatic as a child. |
