I have a small lump in my right armpit which is very painful. Is it a sign of any incurable disease?

The lump appeared a week back, dissappeared again. now it has reappeared. Its a small lump by the size of my nail.it pains when i don touch it and even worse when I do.
Im 19 years old and I'm scared if its the symptom of anything big.

I'll see a doctor, but i need to know if any of u'll have gone thru the same thing and if its really serious.

i would get the same thing its called a cybastic cyst and its due hormones changing in you body it will go away and it is nothing to worry about just ask ur doctor to perscripe u some antibiotics to reduce the pain

It could also be an irritated sweat gland, or a minor internal infection.

it sounds like a sty or an ingrown hair.
if not, you could have lymphoma.

Any kind of lump should not be ignored. There is a medicine in Ayurved called "KANCHNAR GUGGULU" that melts the lump anywhere in the body. Please let me know if you get the mentioned medicine in your locality.

for a start stop using any deodrants under your arm pits , this blocks and clogs up sometimes

I would go to the doctors because you can not be sure about these things.it might not be a lump it might be a cyst. if it is a lump check to see if it has gone bigger if it has you will have no choice but to go to the doctors. where the lump is feel around the breasts starting from your armpit and work yourself around.if you feel another lump then like i said before you have no choice. if it is a cyst the cyst will be under the skin and it will be very soft. i know you are only 19 years old and that your very scared. if you dont like to go to the doctors by yourself take a friend with you for some support..........i hope everything turns out fine for you..........

Here is your answer.

Try to follow few petty steps ,costs max. Rs.50/= and Time max. 7 to 10 days.I think it will help you for betterment.I think ,you skin is oily or semi oily in nature.

> Initially observe whole body,whether,same type of
lump/s is/are appearing on other part or not.
> Keep the affected area as well as whole body
clean and dry ( free from oil & dust )all time.
> Use DETTOL or any medicated Soap as a whole,but,
it should free from cream and medicated body
powder of good brand.
> Purchase "KULE KHARA" vegetable from bazar, keep
with water for at least 10 hours or over-night and
drink the raddish water in the morning,before
leaving the bed and taking plain water / touching
the ground.
> Apply "BETNOVET-C" cream (pur.fm.med.shop)twice/
thrice a day on the affecetd area.
> Purchase "MULTANI MITTI" from 'Dasakarma' not from
cosmetic shop.Keep required qty.to apply on the
area,make a paste with water and apply on the same
at the "BED TIME" with the help of other at home,
stey bear upto dry,then wear cloth/s.Wash it on
the next day at the time you take bath.But don't take previous day's paste on the next day.It may creat infection,which is harmfull.

Continue the process for max. 10 days and observe.If
the affected area is still warm or reddish in nature
or eraptic, you should stay under doctor supervision

But,I think nothing to worry! Any how few dead cells
are created a lump.Mainly it appears on oily skin or

I had something like that once. It was my deoderant, it clogged up everything so now I wash it off whenever Im not going to be around people and it hasnt come back since.
