Throat is swollen (size of golf ball) neck really as the throat does not hurt! Only the ball in neck hurts? |
the gland? or whatever it is, does not move anymore and is getting larger, slowly. The ball is the only thing tender. I talk regularly and my throat does not hurt. I did just get over a cold about 1 week or so ago. I do also have a movable gland that gets larger then reduces on the left side periodically. I have Lupus and I do not think one has to do with the other, and I take prednisone and methotrexate so I was hoping that would reduce the ball, but has not. I am tired of doctors, as I helped heal myself with natural stuff and prayers when Myositis hit (loss of my muscle) so whatever you have out there for suggestions, please help. try your doctor, may be cancer. thyroid problems can be serious. dont be a goof. I had something that sounds just like that in July 2000...Dr. did a CT scan & biopsy after originally thinking it was enlarged salivary gland and diagnosed a branchial cleft cyst. It had to be removed surgically, but was benign, thank God. It could be a goiter which indicates a problem with your thyroid gland, or it could be a cyst. (These are just 2 possibilities.) Either one of these would need a doctor's attention. I can understand being tired of doctors, but they are the ones that can diagnose and give you the treatment you need for this 'ball'. Have your doctor check your thyroid gland. I had a lump on my thyroid gland which turned out to be cancerous. Luckily it was found early and the treatment was relatively easy. Try drinking First Vita Plus. It works: http://salun-at.blogspot.com/2008/01/ben... |
