Myopia progression?

if you have -1.5 myopia how bad does it get if I don't wear glasses all the time. Currently I only put them on if I have a problem seeing at a distance, do I need to leave them on throughout the day?

Myopia (or any glasses prescription for that matter) is not affected by whether or not your wear glasses. Many people with low myopia (like yours) choose not to wear glasses much of the time. That is a perfectly safe thing to do in terms of your eyes and will not make them worse.

It is a common myth, but definitely false, that wearing or not wearing glasses will affect your glasses prescription. It does not.

People with myopia often become more nearsighted in the teenage years and early twenties, but most people achieve a pretty stable glasses prescription after that. Wearing or not wearing glasses does not affect the progression of myopia.
