-2.5 Myopia and suddenly I can see without my contact lenses?

Hi. I'm 24, I've used contact lenses since I was 18.
I have myopia, -2.75 Left, -2.50 Right
Last week (Jan 1st) I changed my mensual lense pairs as normal as I used to, and when I put my new rigth contact lense, my vision turns blurred. I took off the lense, and without it, I could see!!! Clear, like If I had one......Since then I only use my left lense, and I can see clear on my rigth eye.
Should I worry? Thanks.

I have about 9 years experience in optometry...are you "sure" there is not a contact lens in that eye?? I know it sounds crazy, but yes it is possible. Also..ck the rx on the box of lenses for your right eye and make sure that it is correct. I could be wrong, but I have never heard of your vision correcting itself for the better.
Just make sure there is not a lense in there and you dont know it. Possibly one that rolled up while you were sleeping, and you thought you lost it?? Hope this helps...keep me posted, I am very interested in what is going on...Good luck!

GREAT!! I AM GLAD YOU WENT TO SEE A DOC! LET ME KNOW IF I CAN HELP YOU AGAIN. TAKE CARE Report It

It sounds like the contacts you were wearing re-shaped your corneas and that actually improved your vision. I have heard of it happening.

Yes, there is no reason that ur degree should go off suddenly. this might mean that there is sumthing that might be wrong with ur eyes. See ur doc immediately.

See a doctor please.

On one occasion I had two contact lenses in one container. Without realizing it, I put both in one eye. Everything was blurry, so I took it out (only one came out). I thought my vision had magically healed, but there was still a contact in my eye. Could this possibly be happening with you?

I would see an eye doc asap
