Do eye exercises help to redue myopia?

i have quite serious myopia.. can u pls tell me if eyes exercises work.. and if they do, where can i learn how to do them?

Somebody telling you that eye exercises will work for you is giving you false hope. Even if the eye exercises worked it would be a very very slight improvement.
I'm sorry but exercises will not improve your myopia!
The muscles that control the movement of the eye do not have any effect on your myopia and therefore exercising them will not change your vision.

A 2005 review of scientific papers on the subject concluded that there was "no clear scientific evidence" that eye exercises were effective in treating myopia.
If you think about it, if they were effective in treating myopia, wouldn't everyone be doing them and talking about their success.... well that is not the case :)

hi! i also suffer from Ur same prob.i also hav a very very serious myopia.i do yoga exercises that are specifically for eyes and i think so there is considerable improvement.you can get these exercises in any yoga book or on-line.

Eye exercises do work and will help you reduce your prescription. You will notice improvement soon after you start doing them, but you may need to practice them for several months before you notice considerable improvement.
