Is myopia a disease? |
I was reading about myopia, which is the same thing as nearsightedness on Wikipedia, and it talks about being diagnosed with it.& i'm nearsighted,so do I have a disease? it is classified in many ways, and there are both genetic and environmental reasons for myopia. There is also a full spectrum of onset classifications and specific distinctions. I personally consider myopia a "condition" . Treatable in a number of ways and non-life threatening as long as you have the luxury of having the ability to get glasses, contacts, etc. ..thxx for the poings It's important to understand that not all disease are infectious like influenza! |
