My eyes precriptions read OD -250 AND OS -175 WHAT LEVEL OF MYOPIA I AM?

i just couldn't undersand, is my myopia low, mild or high. Please help me to undersand.

Your prescription is pretty mild. Most once you get past about -4.00, then you are considered med. Highs tend to be in the -8.00 and up. I wouldn't really worry especially since your Rx for each eye is pretty close to each other. I really wouldn't worry much.. if your Rx has stayed pretty stable (only changed about 0.25-0.50 diopters since your last visit- or not at all) then you shouldn't worry too much. Your doctor will tell you if you ever need to worry.

Be happy that is your Rx... i've seen someone with a -28.00 ...

I am -950 and -925 I wear contacts full time and am classed as medically blind. I used to get my contact lenses for free but they have since changed the rules.

you are mild-if you think of it in terms of dollars-with quarters being the only "currancy" you have $2.50 worth of prescription in one eye....the lowest you can have is .25 cents.
Not horrible, pretty average actually. If you are young (teens to early 20's) it is possible for it to increase slightly over the years -going up by .25 or .50 every couple of years is normal-

You can probably walk around just fine without em but driving and fine details-well, Id want you wearing your glasses if I was in the car with you! Movies, blackboard definately! But dont panic-you have a perfectly average prescription.
