How long would i have to wear glasses to recover from myopia? |
If I use glasses does myopia would get worse? Wearing glasses all the time will actually make your vision worsen. I started with a prescription about the same as yours and only wore my glasses at night to drive. This was the only time I needed them. Don't wear them if you do not need them. This will save your eyes from increased worsening too fast. Your vision will not correct unless you have lasik surgery. Sorry. You are nearsighted. Glasses or contacts correct/treat your vision. Other that LASIK that reshapes your cornea there is no cure. Depending on your vision problem, you may need to wear your glasses or contact lenses all the time, or only when you need distance vision, like driving, seeing a chalkboard or watching a movie. If you're nearsighted, your prescription is a negative number. The higher the numeral, the stronger your lenses will be |
