Optometrist said my myopia and astigmatism improved due to my brain being more developed?

My left eye's myopia and astigmatism improved compared to years ago (the last time they were examined). My right eye also improved, but not as much. Overall, both eyes are now more balanced. My optometrist said I must have had extensive developments in my right brain in the last few years. Apparently, he said the left eye's vision is connected to the right brain, and vice versa. What do you know about this? Is it possible?

yes, I have become much more reliant on my intuition and have had sharper sense of intuition in the last few years.

Yes, I think it possible, but an optometrist isn't a medical doctor. An ophthalmologist (medical doctor, eye specialist) would know more about this than an optometrist. Maybe the brain "learned" to compensate for the visual deficits by making your lenses focus more accurately. I have heard about vision being upside down and backwards but the nervous system changes it around so we can see normally

i seem to remember eyes are the only body
parts not cross connected,,,,,in any case he's basically
correct, when one part of the brain develops
more and become more balanced with the other half

astigmatism is reduced. have you become more intuitive
or intellectual? its how you tell which side has
been developing,,,,,right brain has more to do
with intuition
