Does Myopia level out in adulthood if you have it during childhood? No. Whats worse is that in middle age myopics are at higher risk for other problems, such as "floaters". Mine hasn't. Been wearing glasses since 3rd grade. At 48, eyes still getting gradually worse. Most probably it wont.Myopia depends on hereditary factors and lifestyle. Stress and lack of vitamins or sometimes use of some drugs or continuous reading of books also can cause myopia.Spectacles, contact lenses or refractive surgery may be used to correct myopia .
