Whats myopia?! and how can i "treat it properly"?

well how to treat it properly meaning without glasses since they make ur eyes worse?!

Hi, Kasiia,
When someone says you're being myopic, they're saying you're being short-sighted. This is exactly what myopia is - short-sightedness.
It is generally treated with glasses (there are some really fashionable ones) or contact lenses.

Short of sight and prescription glasses will alleviate the , not cure , problem .

I'm all too familiar with it. I've had this condition since I was 10 years old. I can only see clearly for about eight inches away from my face and then beyond that, everything is blurry. I don't know about other people but for me, it seems to get much worse in low light.

Myopia = nearsightedness. Your eye is longer than average, and the light coming into your eye (which is how you are able to see) does not hit the back of the retina, but stops at some point in front.

Prescription glasses refract the light so that it properly meets the retina (back of your eye).

Some people think that wearing glasses make your eyes worse, and some people think that's a myth. Doctors have not determined it either way.

What is known is that once you start wearing glasses to correct myopia, your brain will become used to this clearer way of seeing and it will seem to you that you now need to rely on glasses more.

Myopia generally progresses, in most cases just a little bit at a time, in some cases, more.

Some doctors think that eye exercises can help strengthen the eye, but there's debate and controversy over that.

Its a form of Nearsightedness and to treat you need Lasik or Contacts that's without Glasses, Most People do need to wear Glasses because they can't see without it.
