Natural cure for myopia (near-sightedness)?

I've read somewhere that regular, deep relaxation for your eyes can gradually correct vision; is this true? Are there other methods? Thanks.

Unfortunately there isn't a natural cure for Myopia. Don't be mislead by those ads claiming they can help. It's anatomically impossibly.

The need for correction comes from to physical components of the eye:

1) The length of the eye (myopia, hyperopia)
2) The shape and orientation of the corneal surface

Myopic people are nearsighted and have longer eyes that the "normal eye". The light that passes through the cornea falls short of its focal point on the retina. Go to the link below and play the clip. It illustrates this.

NO EYE EXERCISE WILL PHYSICALLY SHORTEN THE EYE so that the light comes to a focal point on the retina as it should.

Astigmatic correction is the other possible componenet required. This is when the front part of the eye, the cornea is shaped more like a football as opposed to a dome.

NO EYE EXERCISE WILL CHANGE THE SHAPE OF THE FRONT SURFACE OF THE EYE.

I don't know how those companies get away with advertising this.

I'm sure there are methods like that and I'm sure they do minimal correction. Laser surgery is a whole lot faster and more effective though!

Other than squint I don't know you should reserach eye exercises to try and train your eyes. I don't think relaxing will work. No one has ever won an Olypic medal from relaxing on the couch.
