I am suffering from Hypertrophic Obstructure Cardio Myopathy. Will it effect my sex and my childrens life?

Hypertrophic Obstructive Cardiomyopathy usually affects the left ventricular outflow tract, causing obstruction to blood being ejected into the aorta.

I wonder if you are a young person because of your question about it affecting your children's life. You seem to be concerned, and rightfully so, that your children may inherit hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy. Do you now have children or is this family planning? I would suggest that you talk with your Cardiologist and determine if you were born with or inherited this problem. He can also answer your question about the cardiomyopathy affecting your sex life.

Great strides have been made in cardiology and things have changed considerably (for the better) regarding the sex life of a heart patient. Will open heart surgery help your problem, something like valve or leaf replacement? I sure hope so. God bless you.

This ailment can be inherited. My father had it, as did his mother and most of her family. As far as affecting your sex life, it should not unless you are using or thinking of using Viagra, etc.. These types of drugs for Erectile Dysfunction, etc., have been known to cause, and have warnings about their uses by people with certain heart diseases.
Dont use these without making sure your cardiologist knows about it first.
