This is for real, so only serious answers please!? |
I have both COPD and Cardio Myopathy, because of having both I have been told a transplant is not an option for eighter my Heart or Lungs. 5 years ago, I was given 5 years to live. I have put my life in order and am retired collecting Social Security. I am 45 years old with a 16 y/o son. My wife jumped ship a few years ago and now I live alone, yet spend alot of my time with family. Both conditions are untreatable without a transplant so I'm screwed there. I have been recieving medication which helps and I feel I may last a few more years. The process of dying from COPD is long and painful, I have thought of suiside and don't want to suffer. What would you do? Your family and especially your son deserve you to live as long as you can. Modern drugs can make palliative care such that you will be comfortable. Dead is forever so the longer you can give your son with you the better, we are never ready to say goodbye to a loved parent. So I would say to you, be brave for the sake of your family. May your God stay with you and give you strength That is a really difficult situation. For me, there would nly be one answer. I would trust God and surrender my situation into His all-powerful, all-loving hands. If it is in His will, He may heal you. But ther is a bigger issue. It is scary knowing that u r going to die, and have only a short time to live on earth. However, God can give you eternal life. You can live for all of eternity with the AMAZING God who will give you unconditional love, in heaven wer ther will b no sin, no illness, no trials, no worries. If u can't trust God, you can't put your hope in anyone. Surrender to Him.....He loves you with a passion! Hallelujah, I thank Jesus! It is due to Him willingly sacrificing His life that we can be saved by God! If it were me, I probably would kill myself, but make it look like an accident so my family wouldn't get upset and think I was eager to just leave them or something. Please do not commit suicide with a 16 year old son. My Mother committed suicide and it is something I can never forget. I am crying now as I type this.Have the doctor keep you as comfortable as possible with pain medication.Spend quality time with your son. A person can always hope for a miracle. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Take care. Personally suicide should not be and option ever, you've beaten most of the odds already, don't burden your son with having to live with that act. I can understand that the thought of dying is scary, but have faith ,do all that you can to prolong your life, share the rest of your life by living it , instead of worrying about when your going to die.Just think they told you , that you had 5 years, proves they aren't always right, so live your life, love your son and take one day at a time PLEASE DON'T EVEN THINK OF SUICIDE If that was me, being honest, i would make the most of my life. Maybe try to contact your wife and patch things up and maybe telling her how you feel will take alot of weight off your shoulders. Think positive and you will be fine. Reading your question was really moving and i hope for the best xxxx |
