Comparing Tay-Sachs disease and Duchenne's muscular dystrophy? |
When comparing Tay-Sachs disease and Duchenne's muscular dystrophy, which of the following do both disorders have in common? I believe that it would be A, because C is not right, adults with Tay, can live with it. Only Tay involves fat replacing tissue, so B is out. Tay Sachs has a prevalence of about 1 in 300 and DMD 1-3000 in males, so they don't add up. |
