Worried about future exercise after back muscle strain? |
! week ago, I strained a back muscle in the upper left area while exercising in school. It hurt really badly whenever I pushed it harder than normal (for example, when I shifted my weight I felt the pain). It never hurt whenever I was simply walking or doing normal exercise. It's been exactly a week now, and I know that the pain is subsiding slowly. My fear is that I won't be able to push myself hard anymore while exercising. Will the strain make my back muscle more susceptible to future injuries? My advice is to REST completely, to allow your back to recover fully from the strain, before you resume your exercise routine. |

No..not at this point..just ice it. ...This is probably a pull of the inner costal muscles in the rib cage. And it will hurt exactly like you describe. It's very hard to recover from this type of Muscle strain. I recommend you g... Muscle strains are possible and very unexpected depends how u fell.but a fact is you probably did strain something but it goes away in a few days. oh and this is helpful there is a big differenc... ice ...Yes, one can keep aggravating a strain for months.
