Muscle strain, help!!!? |
I am playing football on SUnday but last Thursday i pulled the muscles in my leg. It still feels tight and i feel if i run it will pull again. Any suggestions on things i can do to speed up recovery and allow me to play. Read the Aspirin Alternative by Mike Loes. Wobenzym is widely used in Europe to treat sports injuries. Also, take 3-4 grams of vitamin c with bioflavinoids daily. Small studies suggest that this may cut recovery time in half for such problems. In the meantime, Rest, Ice, Compression, and Elevation are the general rule. Heat may promote healing once all the swelling has gone down. Go to a sports injury clinic and get some massage and heat treatment. No advice, but to keep it active and get a nice woman to give your strained muscle a good massage. RICE! Hears my advice |
