How long does it take for a muscle strain to heal?

how long will it take for my right chest muscle to heal and stop hurting so bad?

It can take anywhere from a few days to several weeks, depending on the severity of the strain and whether or not you keep injuring it by continued use or overuse. Anti-inflammatories, like Ibuprofen, can help.

With right chest pain...
Costochondritis, rib contusions, and even a rib fracture must also be considered...

Though, the treatment doesn't change. Rest, ice, and regular Ibuprofen.

But the length to recovery can be longer with these...even over a month.

Hope this helps!
