Muscle twitching starting to bother me. Could it be anxiety?

well, for about a week, random muscles all over my body, includint leg, arm, shoulder, abs....have been twitching....it lasts for about 4 or 5 seconds and goes away, its very light and hard to notice, and includes no pain or cramps.

i have an anxiety disorder
i have good blood pressure
im 21, male, active, and skinny (about 130lbs)
and take daily vitamin and eat well too.

they told me not to worry about it (the doctors) that its probably from my anxiety...its not REALLY bothering me, but its hard to not notice....thanks guys and girls.....

It very well could be anxiety. I have GAD and I sometimes get the muscle twitching in my chest, or legs. It is very common, and the odds are great you shouldn't worry about it.

If you are feeling particularly nervous about it, you could see a doctor. I wouldn't think it is anything serious though.

Best Wishes!

I get eye twitching once in a while. It bothers me when its happening but I shrug it off! If it gets worse maybe you should see another doctor.

Could easily be a magnesium deficiency.
