I don't know anymore. Help?

After school today, I had a really sharp pain on one side of my face..It included the side of my head, my eye, my teeth...it stops then comes back again but it's bad..sometimes i feel it on the other side of my face...but it's not so bad...Can this be just a regular migrane from my eye or lack of sleep? Or can this possibly be a brain tumor of some sort. I also experience dizziness sometimes, twitching muscles, and anxiety disorder symptoms. Please help if you have an idea. Thanks

I have migraines & cluster headaches. The pain is so severe that it will give a person intense anxiety, worrying about when the next round is coming & fearing that no way could your head be healthy & feel that way. I had CT scans, MRIs, everything, but it IS just a headache. The worst pain ever, unimaginable pain, but no serious cause. There are very effective medications out there now, but nothing over the counter will touch that pain. There are triptans that you can get prescribed. They are not "pain pills" & they will only work for migraines. Ineffective for regular headaches, or back pain. Ask your doctor. They are expensive, but when you hurt like that, you'd sell your arm for some relief. Good luck!

My best advice is to see a Dr and find out what it is. Wont you feel better when you find out it is nothing? Or if it is something, then you can treat it earlier than later -always better! good luck.

You need to hurry and see a doctor. I don't know about any of this but it sounds really serious. Make an appointment ASAP

Make an appointment IMMEDIATELY with a doctor!!! Hopefully this is something minor but NEVER take a chance with this type of thing. Let the experts tell you what is going on. . not people here on answers. Good Luck and God bless you.

im sorry i have no idea what that is ive had migranes b4 but nothing that bad talk to ur doctor maybe he can help

uhhh...go to a doctor right now. that does not sound good at all. you shouldnt ask something like that to people on here who will basically know next to nothing. so i say go to a profesional.

good luck

You should probably get that checked by a doctor.

sounds like Cluster headaches. Google it.
There is also a website. I honestly hope it's something else.
I;ve had them. Worst pain imaginable.
A Dr can give you some drugs to stop them, though, and to try to prevent them from coming back.

I don't think anxiety would cause such intense pain. It COULD be your Temporo-Mandibular Joint (TMJ), the joint where the mandible (the lower jaw) joins the temporal bone of the skull, immediately in front of the ear on each side of your head. A small disc of cartilage separates the bones, much like in the knee joint, so that the mandible may slide easily; each time you chew you move it. But you also move it every time you talk and each time you swallow (every three minutes or so). It is, therefore, one of the most frequently used of all joints of the body and one of the most complex.

You can locate this joint by putting your finger on the triangular structure in front of your ear. Then move your finger just slightly forward and press firmly while you open your jaw all the way and shut it. The motion you feel is the TMJ. You can also feel the joint motion in your ear canal.

These maneuvers can cause considerable discomfort to a patient who is having TMJ trouble, and physicians use these maneuvers with patients for diagnosis.
