I suffered mumps orchitis at age 22, I am 31 now and my sperm count is zero. I suffered mumps orchitis at age 22 and my sperm count is zero, im now 31 can i father child? With a zero sperm count, fathering a child is not possible. no. sorry. You don't make eggs. Geez. The woman provides the eggs. If your sperm count is 0, that means you do not make sperm. I don't think even test-tube babies would be an option for you. That must be hard for you. I would say...better consult someone who's an expert in this department before it's too late. In this world of abundant medicines and high technology stuffs...I bet there's a remedy for you to increase your sperm production... Men don't have eggs..they have sperm and if you don't make any, then you can't have kids. No sperm, no kids...your wife would have to have invitro using someone elses sperm. Well, if your sperm count is zero, then you definately can't father a child naturally. There may (or may not) be a way they can actually take a small piece of your testes and take immature sperm out, which may be able to fertilize an egg in a petri dish (which can then be implanted) but that's only if the damage isn't too bad (which it sounds like it may be), it's expensive, and it's not a sure thing under the best of circumstances, and we're not talking about the best circumstances here. No you cannot, i suffered from this when i was nine months old and just found out about it four years ago. i have the sex drive like any man, maybe more, i have no problem getting a hard-on, and i still come, but the sperm count is zero. when i found out i stopped using condoms with my girlfriend and my wife stopped using birth control. neither one of them have gotten pregnant yet. so i feel it is pretty safe to say that i will never have an offspring. but it is one way to find out if my partner is cheating on me, if she becomes pregnant that is. |
