Multiple Sclerosis Question?

With Multiple Sclerosis can sometimes you feel fine and then normal...cuz i feel that way even though one doctor says i dont have it..i feel the symptoms are similar..including attacks..so its like geez i dont know..i took an mri it was normal...you have to have lesions on the brain???

I have multiple sclerosis. To answer your first question-yes, you can still feel fine even for long periods of time. Multiple sclerosis symptoms come and go. This is called relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis. The lesions DO NOT show up right away. The lesions are scar tissue that build up over time so it is possible that you have multiple sclerosis although you have no lesions. A CAT scan or nerve conduction test will not detect multiple sclerosis. There are many symptoms of this disease. Nobody gets them all. The symptoms include tremors, blurred vision, weakness, tingling, exhaustion, trouble with balance, cramps, pain, numbness of the legs, numbness of the arms ,cognitive impairment, hammer toe, blindness, loss of short memory, lowered IQ, cognitive impairment, colored blindness, burning sensations. This disease can be a very difficult disease to diagnose. It sometimes takes as long as ten years to be diagnosed. For more detailed information, type National Multiple Sclerosis Society into your web browser. Do not hesitate to call this organization. They are the definitive resource for this disease. I certainly hope that you do not have it. While some people with multiple sclerosis lead normal lives, others undergo tremendous suffering. My best to you.

My mom has it and you can definitly tell with an mri. so if the MRI came back clear you're probably fine. or get a second opinion to stay on the safe side

Mutliple sclerosis is a disease of many varying symptoms and levels of severity. Go to the MS website for information.

My wife was diagnosed with MS about twenty years ago. She began having severe trouble about two years ago and we began searching for a solution. Doctors wanted to try Interferon but we couldn't afford the treatments. We talked to a nutritionist who told her to get all dairy out of her diet and severely limit beef. Something about dairy that encourages a flare up in the auto-immune response. She went from 3-4 episodes a month down to 1. Then, we found out about glyconutrients and after starting on these supplements, she hasn't had an episode in almost a year. I take them, too, for my arthritis.
