For stage2 multiple myeloma, how long the therapy with thallix and dexa should be continued safely? |
A 53 yr male patient of myeloma (stage2) is on Thallidomide and dexa,continuing his fifth cycle.His Plasma cell count decreased from 45% to 4% at the end of third cycle.How long these drugs will have to be taken?Would they become ineffective lateron if received for long duration? There is no formula for how long before they become un effective. |
