Multiple Myeloma statistics? |
I want to know the mortality rate at 1,2,3,4,5+ after the detection of the cancer, and what is the probability of dying of this kind of cancer. I know it has no cure, but it has treatment. For example, if i'm diagnised now with it, and i take the proper treatment, what changes do i have to survive 1 year more, 2 years, etc. I want to know too at what stage of the cancer (stage I II or III) the stem cell transplant is made. any links will be apreciated. thanks. Overall, about 55 out of every 100 people (55%) diagnosed with myeloma in England and Wales live for at least a year after diagnosis. About 23 out of every 100 (23%) live for at least 5 years. And about 12 live for at least 10 years. |
